LA + Thoughts On Living In The Now
I recently spent some time in LA. It was so great to hang and catch up with old friends, and of course soak up the gorgeous California sun.
There are moments when I realize what's most important. Like when I go for a drive, or chat with a friend, or take just a minute to admire the sunset. It's in these seemingly small moments where I look around and see that THIS is what it's all about.
I've realized more and more how important it is to be present, and it's something I'm personally trying to be more conscious of... to be in the moments happening NOW, and not the ones that have already been or have yet to be.
It's easy to focus on the future, or even dwell in the past. I get it. But the stuff happening all around us right now IS the good stuff. And in the long run these "small" moments are actually the big ones, and that is definitely worth our attention.
Give thanks for the road you are on. Embrace the unknown. Be in the moment. Because now is now, and that's all we really have.
