Ahhh! I have a studio!

So last weekend we (well, B) set up my backdrop mount. You guys, I finally have one of my very own! I have always just rented a studio as needed, so to have one right by my desk at the office is amazing!

As many of you may know, I rent space from the House of Form studio and love being studio mates with those lovely interior designers (can’t believe we’re going on 2 years!). When the time came for a new office Dala asked what I wanted in the new space… I said “um, a desk?” and she (being the sweet considerate soul she is) was like “what else??” and I was like… “hmm, a source of natural light would be super cool, to set up a little space for portraits and stuff”… totally not thinking she’d end up finding a space with floor to ceiling windows on the front and back of the building! Ahhhhh! Sooo exciting!!

The day after install we took the kids to see and I snapped a couple pics while they ran around and attempted to wrinkle and rip it apart (haha, so it felt like;) Honestly, it was the cutest and they were having a blast jumping around, but Mila stopped for a moment and I snapped this portrait and I just love it so much because it was so natural and she just looks so 5. Like such a kid. Where’s my baby!?
